Imagine… a community of Sustainability Employee Engagement professionals that generously shares insights on strategy and integration, overcoming obstacles and measuring success in engagement initiatives. A community that inspires you when you are stuck and celebrates your success. A community where synergies, collaboration and co-creation happen. A community that is so much more than the sum of its parts.

Welcome to SEEN, the Sustainability Employee Engagement Network. SEEN is home to knowledge and skill sharing, networking and co-creation of practical solutions for engagement in sustainability. Convened by two friends and colleagues who are passionate about sustainability engagement, Wendy Firlotte and Kathryn Cooper, SEEN is your place to breakthrough to what really works.

The SEEN Community

Everything starts somewhere, SEEN Talks is the next evolution of the partnership of two friends passionate about sustainability engagement. Kathryn Cooper and Wendy Firlotte have worked together since 2011 on sustainability engagement initiatives through the Sustainability Learning Centre. International Society of Sustainability Professionals and the Sustainability Engagement Network Dialogue; a monthly virtual learning and sharing forum.

Kathryn has developed, taught and implemented numerous employee engagement in sustainability programs. She is a graduate of York University with a Master of Education on Sustainability and the Environment, where she conducted research on sustainability engagement. She holds an MBA from Wilfrid Laurier University, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Guelph.

Wendy works with clients to create sustainability engagement programs for their employees with concrete “how-to” steps. Wendy has developed, implemented and coordinated successful sustainability employee education and engagement programs for national and multinational firms. She is a scientist, environmental manager and certified instructional designer, holding a master’s degree in sustainable development, focused on sustainability education and engagement.
